Am I eligible to join?
The Catalyst Affiliate Program is for developers, cloud architects, system integrators, tech educators, IT managers, tech writers, and anyone who loves to create applications or share their knowledge with developers. Anyone with a blog, website, or social media account can join the affiliate program and earn a 15% commission on Catalyst sales made through their affiliate links. We're looking for individuals with an established interest in sharing knowledge with the developer community on cloud servers and building applications.

Who can I refer?
You can refer any business or individuals that are not already an existing paying customer of Catalyst and/or Zoho.
How much commission can I earn?
You earn 15% commission for the invoice value for Catalyst from each customer for two years from the date of invoice generation (irrespective of the number of projects deployed to production) through your affiliate link. There is no cap on how much you can earn from our affiliate program.
Can I earn commission on any Zoho products purchased by my referral?
No. If you wish to refer other Zoho products, please write to us at affiliates-support@zohocorp.com
What happens if my referral doesn't deploy any project?
Since no invoice gets generated when a project is not deployed, we cannot share commission for such referrals.
When will I earn commission?
You will earn commission only after the referral moves the project to production and starts paying Zoho for services. For instance, if your referral signs up in January 2022 and moves to production within 2 years (by January 2024) of the date of sign-up, you'll be qualified to earn commission. However, if the referral moves a project to production after 2 years, you won't be eligible for any commission.
Will I earn commission even if my referral has free credits?
Yes, you will earn 15% commission for the Wallet credits used by the referral until the expiry of the Wallet credits.
Will I earn recurring commissions for the referred customer?
The commission will be shared only on the invoice value during the first two years.
Is there a limit on the number of customers I can refer or the amount I can earn from this program?
There is no limit to the number of customers that you can refer, nor on the amount you can earn from this program. You are encouraged to bring in as many referrals as you can.
Is there a minimum sales requirement?
No.
How do I track my earnings?
You can log in to your affiliate dashboard at any time for information about any commissions you have earned.
Where can I find my affiliate link?
You can find your affiliate link on your affiliate dashboard. Alternatively, you can also generate your deep links for any Catalyst webpage using the affiliate URL-builder tool on the dashboard.
Can I refer customers in any geography or data center?
The customer must sign up in the same data center that you're registered in as an affiliate. You can, however, refer customers in any data center, provided that you have also signed up as an affiliate in that data center. For example, if you sign up in the US data center and want to refer customers from Europe, you may register for our program again and select the Europe data center.
How long will the signup be attributed to me after the initial click?
Cookies set and used as part of this affiliate program have a generous 90-day validity.
My referral forgot to use my affiliate link. Is there a way to track it back to my account?
We're unable to track referrals back to your account. You are expected to ensure that the referral signs up using your unique link and that you use your affiliate links in all your promotions.
Is there a way for me to track the status of my referrals?
Yes, you can track and monitor the complete referral process in your dashboard. Use your affiliate dashboard to keep track of your referrals activity, optimize your performance, and boost your earnings.
What happens when my referral signs up from a different data center?
The referral must sign up from your unique URL for you to be eligible to receive an incentive. We currently do not support referrals signing up from a different data center than the person who referred them. For instance, if you've signed up on the EU data center, then you will receive commissions only for referrals who sign up in the same data center.
I'm not a developer, nor do I have a website of my own. Can I still participate in the program?
Yes. You can still share your affiliate link via email or on sites like Reddit, GitHub, Twitter, and relevant LinkedIn groups for developers. You can also engage and interact with the right audience in forums, communities, and groups. Deliver value to others by sharing high-quality information, insights, and helpful responses on related questions on forums and review sites. Wherever appropriate, use your referral link in your replies. Please respect the posting rules of any third-party websites.
What is the FTC affiliate disclosure?
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires affiliate marketers to disclose that they are getting paid to promote the product. This is to keep transparency and honesty in advertising, and to keep consumers informed. To learn about FTC disclosure requirements, please check out the FTC’s. Am I required to disclose my affiliate relationship in my promotional efforts?
Yes. Some examples of FTC disclosure statements that you may use are:
- If you make a purchase through this link, we may receive a commission.
- We may earn a referral fee for some of the services we recommend on this post/website.
- We may receive a commission if you click on some of the links on this website and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you.
What is the preferred method of payment?
PayPal is preferred.
How do I get paid?
If the unpaid commissions reflected in your account equals or exceeds $100, you can request a payout from the affiliate dashboard.
Can an affiliate choose to receive payouts in other countries' currencies?
Affiliate payouts are decided by the customer's mode of payment. For example, if an affiliate is from Europe and their referred customer makes a purchase using US dollars, then the affiliate will automatically receive their incentive in US dollars.
Exception: For INR, the above possibility is not applicable.
Can I receive payment for customers I have referred before this affiliate program was launched?
No. You are only eligible to receive payment for referrals who sign up using your unique link.
Can I be an affiliate as well as a consulting partner simultaneously?

Affiliates are only expected to promote Catalyst. Consulting and implementation support are beyond the scope of the Catalyst Affiliate Program.
Can I become a customer using my affiliate link?
No. It is strictly prohibited.
I want to manage a customer account. Can I get the customer’s login credentials?
No, an affiliate is not allowed to do this.
